Biography:
Marc Chagall (1887-1985) Russian, one of the most successful artists of the 20th century, was director of the art Academy & art Director of the Moscow Jewish State Theater. Moved to France in1923, lived in USA in 1941 to 1948. He was an early modernist. He loved mythological floating figures in full colour. Chagall created works in virtually every artistic medium, including painting, fine art prints, book illustrations, stained glass, ceramic and tapestries, his artwork in many Museums across the world.
